Buck teams up with Earth Directorate special agent Marla Landers on a mission to infiltrate the infamous gambling city of Sinaloa, a Las Vegas-type complex located on a huge space-station. Their assignment is to rescue a young woman who has been kidnapped by the city's unscrupulous ruler, Malton Velosi, who plans to extract vital information from her mind in order to destroy one of his competitors, a man named Armos Armat. But when Velosi discovers Buck and Marla’s intentions, he makes them an offer: if he can keep the girl, he will hand over the plans for Princess Ardala’s Draconian Hatchet fighters, which have been attacking Earth's defence forces. Faced with the key to defeating their enemy, Buck and Marla realise that this is an offer that may not be easy to refuse…
